The Challenge
For high-value banquet events, allergen labels and materials were created manually. This process was time-consuming, often taking 2–4 hours, and led to inconsistent, off-brand designs that weakened the hotel's premium presentation. The lack of efficiency and brand consistency risked creating a poor impression for our most important clients.
The Solution
• To resolve both time and consistency issues, I designed and developed a custom web application that became the single source of truth for event materials.
• The app features a simple drag-and-drop interface where banquet staff can upload the menu file from chefs.
• It automatically detects food items and allergens, instantly generating a full set of professional, brand-aligned labels.
• Labels can be customized as needed and downloaded as print-ready PDFs or PNGs, ensuring efficiency and design consistency.
