The Challenge
ZenGroup’s subscription box service had strong international markets but no presence in the Spanish-speaking world—a large, highly engaged audience. The goal was to introduce the brand and build awareness across multiple countries, all within a limited initial budget.
The Solution
• I was responsible for building the Spanish-language marketing division from the ground up, creating a tailored Go-to-Market strategy with a strong focus on influencer marketing.
• The initial campaign centered on a major giveaway. Instead of investing heavily in large influencers, I allocated the budget to desirable prizes (such as a Nintendo Switch and free subscription boxes), which attracted collaborations with dozens of micro- and mid-tier influencers.
• Through market analysis, I identified an underserved demand for Nendoroid anime figures in Spanish-speaking countries. This insight became the foundation of a second major campaign.
• Using the proven engagement from the first campaign, I approached larger influencers and secured collaborations without direct fees, highlighting the value and growth potential for their audiences.
